Il resto non conta, anche se il giornale vende trecentomila copie. Trascurando questo elemento ci si esclude la comprensione dell'aspetto più caratteristico del nostro giornalismo politico, forse della intera politica italiana: è l'atmosfera delle recite in famiglia, con protagonisti che si conoscono fin dall'infanzia, si offrono a vicenda le battute, parlano una lingua allusiva e, anche quando si detestano, si vogliono bene". Poi: il giorno che da Sardegna News arrivassero segnalazioni sulla sagra del porceddu, da Lombardia News segnalazioni su un concorso per giovani artisti padani, ecc. ecc., che si fa?
Introdurrei veramente una classificazione vincolante per CANALI, aggiungendo alla lista esistente il canale "cronaca locale" e evitando che finiscano automaticamente in visualizzazione privilegiata tutti gli ultimi arrivi (ricorrentemente, una valanga di notizie lucane).
Di fatto esiste un aggregatore di notizie NON selezionate, provenienti dal sito BasilicataNotizie. Allora era meglio lavoce.info…

Si potrebbero usare simboli-colore, come fa http://www.wikio.fr , uno per canale (o per più canali), con la possibilità di cliccare in legenda sul colore o sul canale. Per esempio: clicco sul blu, e mi compaiono gli interventi su "politica" e "politica internazionale"; ma posso anche cliccare solo su "politica" o solo su "politica internazionale".
Positiva anche l'opzione di visualizzare l'ordine dei titoli scegliendo tra tre criteri: pertinenza (scelta redazionale), data di pubblicazione, popolarità.

Ottimi suggerimenti. Non abbiamo volutamente mai invitato basilicatanews a astenersi dall'invadere il sito con segnalazioni non pertinenti proprio per risolvere il problema alla radice. Per ora quello su cui stiamo lavorando è:
- limitazione numero massimo segnalazioni in un determinato lasso di tempo
- limitazione numero massimo segnalazioni da un sito internet in un determinato lasso di tempo
- linee guida per la pubblicazione, che consenta di eliminare contenuti che non si attengono ad esse
- possibilità per gli utenti di segnalare, con un link apposito sotto ogni post, alla redazione interventi che non si attengono alle linee guida

Stiamo ragionando anche a come rendere possibile la localizzazione geografica dei contenuti.

Quanto ai canali, questi esistono già, e presto verranno meglio valorizzati. Tuttavia, non credo che siano tanti quanti in wikio, anche perché la nostra scelta va più verso la folksonomia (parole chiave libere associate dagli utenti) che verso la tassonomia controllata.

In effetti Wikio è "generalista", riporta le notizie della Spagna che entra nelle semifinali dei campionati di basket e di Tom Cruise liquidato dalla Paramount; invece "fai notizia" potrebbe essere come Radio Radicale, escludere i pezzi cronachistici su sport e spettacoli accogliendo però articoli in proposito nei canali "cultura", "società", anche "economia".

Vedrei bene un thesaurus in perenne costruzione e arricchimento dove, in ordine alfabetico, siano elencate le parole chiave già usate. Poi la redazione, periodicamente, dovrebbe unificare le voci che hanno lo stesso valore scegliendone una, in modo che di sicuro l'elenco dei testi collegati a un termine comprenda tutti quelli pertinenti.
Inoltre, o si prevede di poter cercare testi sulla base di più di una parola chiave, o bisogna fare uso di espressioni composte da più di una parola, per esempio: possibilità di cercare insieme "democrazia" + "Medio Oriente" oppure inserimento di espressione-chiave "democrazia in Medio Oriente".
In certi casi l'espressione è indispensabile; per esempio, le parole-chiave armi, attrazione, massa porterebbero a risultati più numerosi e non pertinenti rispetto a "armi di attrazione di massa".

Si potrebbe fare un link tra "fai notizia" e "stampa e regime", con una rubrica redazionale dove siano inseriti tutti gli articoli citati nella rassegna stampa, più altri eventualmente sfuggiti: l'informazione-base quotidiana.

Se sì, sarebbe bello (? ; )) che la redazione inserisse qui articoli interessanti accessibili solo a pagamento. Per esempio, anche il "Corriere della Sera" prima era on-line gratis integralmente, in versione testo, ora non più (come "Le Monde", ecc.).
"Internazionale" ha spesso articoli molto interessanti, potreste concordare la facoltà di pubblicare in contemporanea con l'uscita due-tre pezzi per numero in cambio di spazietto pubblicitario su questo sito.

Secondo me, i limiti quantitativi sono sempre un po' arbitrari; forse si potrebbe prevedere la possibilità di segnalazioni "due in uno" (o tre, o quattro…) quando è utile stabilire un confronto sullo stesso argomento.
