Lunedì 15 Febbraio 2010 il Piccolo Teatro Città di Chioggia si trasferisce nella Capitale per presentare al pubblico romano “Le Baruffe Chiozzotte” di Carlo Goldoni con la regia di Pierluca Donin.
Sono due le rappresentazioni che verranno proposte gratuitamente al pubblico alle ore 16.00 e alle ore 17.30 nella Chiesa dei Santi Ambrogio e Carlo al Corso, a pochi metri da Via del Corso, inserite all’interno del programma degli eventi del Carnevale di Roma 2010, una grande festa all’insegna della riscoperta filologica della tradizione.

“Il Comune di Roma per il secondo anno consecutivo ha voluto riprendere come tema la riscoperta della tradizione italiana per gli eventi e le manifestazioni del Carnevale. – commenta l’assessore alla cultura Nicola Boscolo Pecchie – In questo contesto abbiamo voluto suggerire lo spettacolo goldoniano delle Baruffe chiozzotte.
E’ un’occasione per far conoscere la nostra città fuori dal nostro territorio e un grande evento in cui la cultura si fonda con la promozione. A conclusione di ciascun spettacolo gli attori infatti scenderanno dal palco e distribuiranno del materiale promozionale sulla città. Con questa prima proposta iniziamo a stringere un patto di amicizia con il Comune di Roma, già gemellato con la città di Venezia, pronti ad accogliere proposte del mondo dell’associazionismo culturale romano.”
