Le battaglie che avete fatto per i disabili mi son piaciute forse perchè anch'io faccio parte del club disabili, naturalmente contro la mia volontà! Ho notato che tanta gente si ricorda dei disabili solo quando decidono di farla finita tipo Welby. Secondo me un altro problema per i disabili è il sesso. Sono stufo di essere trattato tipo un asessuato. Anche i disabili pensano a certe cose ma tv e giornali se ne fregano alla grande! Solo vagando su internet ho trovato delle notizie sul tema tipo il Sar in Olanda! Mi piacerebbe che parlaste di 'ste cose anche se mi rendo conto che rispetto all'eutanasia è un problema minuscolo. Non ditelo al papa che penso ste cose sennò mi fà una predica che non finisce più! Eheheh...Luca

La questione che sollevi è ancora una volta quella della conoscenza, della definizione di una cultura sociale e politica adeguate ai bisogni del “più debole” nell’esercizio della propria libertà. “…Non direttamente a me, ma a Maria Antonietta, c'è qualcuno, che le chiede se posso o no, scopare. Così Luca Coscioni scriveva della nostra sessualità rispondendo a chi si poneva il problema di ristabilire l'equilibrio psico-sessuale del nostro rapporto di coppia, qualora fosse stato messo in pericolo dalla sua condizione di malato. Una forma, una dimensione vissuta, tra tante possibili, nella diversità, espressa con la consapevolezza di avere e sentire un ruolo sessuale legato al cambiamento biologico, fisico e psicologico che la malattia e/o la disabilità possono portare. Credo che si debba partire da qui. Dalla conoscenza di una dimensione soggettiva della sessualità riconoscibile in tutte le persone, anche in quelle verso le quali in molti, ancora troppi, il pregiudizio, il non sapere, una “cultura” ed una educazione sessuofobiche, inducono a pensare che il deficit, l'handicap, la malattia, e la diversità, svuotano i corpi di emozioni, desideri e ricerca del piacere. Emozioni, desideri diversi, vissuti sulla propria pelle con l’esclusione, la solitudine e le difficoltà ad esprimere la propria sessualità. La problematicità, che certamente riveste il tema della sessualità e disabilità, non deve essere da una parte segregata in un luogo di trincea dove a pagare un caro prezzo sono sempre e solo i disabili, e dall'altra risolta con un “intervento tecnico specialistico”: come è accaduto ad un ragazzo di Oxford con una grave forma di distrofia muscolare “accontentato” nel desiderio di “fare sesso almeno una volta nella vita”. Questi due estremi invece possono essere percorsi da una interpretazione della sessualità come manifestazione del desiderio di normalità. Desiderio che rimanda alla dimensione naturale della persona, che abbassa la soglia dei limiti del deficit solo fisico o psichico, per scongiurare così la sistematica “castrazione” - figlia di schiaccianti pregiudizi morali - di chi non rientra nei canoni estetici e seduttivi di ruoli sociali importanti e di prestigio; e obbliga così a vivere una castità non voluta: una sorta di costrizione grave e violenta delle relazioni emotive ed intime. Quindi il riconoscimento di un diritto, quello della sessualità imprescindibile di tutte le persone, che la società civile e politica non può permettersi di non riconoscere: è il diritto di vivere l’esperienza della conoscenza del proprio corpo, all’interno di una relazione o individualmente, nelle situazioni più complesse, attraverso una educazione sessuale non repressiva. E’ compito delle istituzioni promuovere una politica di sostegno e di aiuto che consenta la piena e libera affermazione della persona. Oggi, troppo spesso, quel che viene fatto riguardo alla sessualità è esattamente il contrario.
